Perfect illustration of letting go
thank you, our autumn warm spell has inspired a lot of these beautiful milkweed pods letting go…
Lovely poem, Tom. 😊
grateful thanks , Govind, i have been a ‘collector’ of many things since childhood and live in the same house I grew up in … so at age 72 I have some serious work to let go of a lot of things I have attached to as if my life depended on everything I have accumulated! Seeing these milkweed seeds being teased out of their pod on the breeze inspired this tanka!
Great, Tom. I have also initiated the process and have non physical things too in the letting go list.
Beautiful poem.
Many thanks, Anita, it came to me in the moment I chose this photo to share and is the crux and conundrum of my being paralyzed by having too many material collections that i treasure and savor each time I try to let things go!
