You got me with this one! I’m from Oklahoma and the redbud is the state tree. I live in Denver now and have one blooming in my front yard.
I live in the house my parents bought when I was born in 1951… in the early 60’s my father brought home about 10 little redbuds which he put in all around our house… they continue to be a spring beauty every year and a nice reminder of the journey in time we both have taken! Glad it resonated for you.
