The moving of the stone is an absolutely incredible and to me baffling feat not to mention how they could ‘cut’ the stone into such symmetrical shapes. The stones weighed up to 50 tons! here is an account of how they moved them across the valley… a seriously huge labor intensive effort which probably involved hundred if not thousands of workers.

He says the Incas most likely brought the stones down the hill and across the valley hill with gravel and sand, and up the hill with log ramps. The Incas may not have had the wheel, but they did use rolling mechanisms when needed.”
